Childhood and youth of Vladimir Yevtushenkov
Yevtushenkov Vladimir was born in the village of Kamenshchina, Smolensk region. Parents were employees of a local agricultural enterprise. His father ran a dairy, and his mother worked as a milkmaid.
During his school years, Yevtushenkov Vladimir was fond of the natural sciences. He often performed chemical experiments at home and planned to enter the Moscow State University at the specialized faculty. However, after receiving a certificate of school completion, he served in the army.

Vladimir Yevtushenkov received his first higher education in 1973 at Mendeleev University. He graduated from the university with the qualification of an engineer-technologist.
In 1980 he graduated from the Faculty of Economics of Lomonosov University (MSU). Yevtushenkov Vladimir became a Doctor of Economic Sciences.
Career and business of Yevtushenkov Vladimir Petrovich
In 1973, he received the position of foreman at the Sverdlov Plant (in the city of Dzerzhinsk).
By 1975, Vladimir Petrovich Yevtushenkov moved to Moscow. He started to work at the Karacharovsky Plastics Plant (now the Polymerbyt Research and Production Association). He started as the head of one of the shops. Subsequently, he developed an innovative technology for injection molding thermoplastics using low-temperature thermostats-refrigerators. For outstanding achievements in the field of chemical production, he gained the Lenin Komsomol Prize. He also became the first deputy director and chief engineer of the enterprise. He held this position until 1987.
In 1993, Yevtushenkov Vladimir began his business career. He created the Sistema Joint Stock Financial Corporation with a group of partners. This holding company specializes in investments in civil sector enterprises. The businessman took part in creating and developing a number of the Group’s key assets. Currently, the investment Group includes many companies from various sectors of the economy: from telecommunications, e-commerce, and finance to agriculture, biotechnology, and medicine. In 2022, Mr. Yevtushenkov left the business and resigned from the AFK Board of Directors. Currently, he focuses on the implementation of social projects.
Since 2004, a charitable foundation founded by Vladimir Yevtushenkov has been operating. The Foundation is engaged in the implementation of social projects and initiatives. The funds are invested in the development of human potential in such areas as education, science, healthcare, sports, and culture. Support is also provided to veterans and vulnerable categories of the population.
Yevtushenkov Vladimir Petrovich is the Chairman of the Board of Trustees of the Development Fund of the Russian Museum “Friends of the Russian Museum”.
Personal life of Vladimir Yevtushenkov
He has been married for over 45 years. Together with his wife, he raised two children.
