Homeowner Inspections Vs Professional Inspection

Common roof problems, such as flapping or missing shingles can be easily observed without climbing up on the roof. But other problems will not be noticed without any professional eye. When your roof is new, which is less than 5 years old, it will not show any signs of interior leaks, and have not experienced any storm or huge events that can be observed by the homeowners themselves. But when your roof is more than 10 years old and has gone through many storms, will require a professional inspection.
